North American Beaver. The beaver (genus Castor) is a primarily nocturnal, large, semi aquatic rodent. They are the second largest rodent in the world, after the Capybara of South America. I have the pleasure of watching these cuties quite often busying themselves with their almost constant daily activities. Busy as a beaver I suppose.
