Looking down stream at the entrance of Herringbone Rapid on the Racecourse section of the Rio Grande, New Mexico. The Rio Grande is the third longest river in the United States at 1,884 miles. This is a Class II-III rapid that is always exciting for river enthusiast in their rafts or kayaks. The difficulty of rapids depends on water levels. The level in this image was a moderate flow therefore a fun, thrilling ride and not to scary. Your mileage my vary.
