Bald Eagle Flight Canvas Print

Giving the ducks a scare. It was a wintery day when I captured this image as I hiked the Rio Grande of New Mexico. This Bald Eagle only winters here. They all migrate North for breeding and the raising of their young.
If photography is an art, are there rules?
No not really.
Art is the use of skill and imagination in the creation of objects, environments, or experiences that can be shared with others.
Skill: So as I venture out creating image after image and spend hours in the digital darkroom, I develop the first required item.
Imagination: If we free ourselves from external limitations (what they say we can or cannot do) we begin to think outside the box.
So photography is an art form without rules. Now that, is a game I can play.

Capturing an image in my camera is but the first step in an artistic process. That initial bit of information then can pass through countless permutations before being declared complete. The journey from capture to completion is a lawless territory.
