Watching huge flocks of Snow Geese swirl down from the sky, amid a cacophony of honking, is a little like standing inside a snow globe.
Image captured on a cold wintry day at the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico. With a low cloud cover the light was somewhat flat. I shot in manual mode all evening, attempting to capture these beautiful Snow Geese in flight.

I am a New Mexico based Adventure Riding/Rafting/SCUBA Outdoor Digital Photographer, always on the qui vive for what Nature and humans provide. Capturing an image in my camera is but the first step in an artistic process. That initial bit of information then can pass through countless permutations before being declared complete.
