Description
Thistle Light. As I hike along the trail, watching for what speaks to me, the morning light peeks through and lights a simple seed head. I underexposed this image to darken the shade behind the subject.

Are there rules? No not really.
Photography has come along as a artistic avenue for releasing that creative edge some of us struggle to let out.
Art is 'the use of skill and imagination in the creation of aesthetic objects, environments, or experiences that can be shared with others'.
So as I venture out creating image after image, with an iPhone camera, a point and shoot or my Nikon, I acquire and sharpen the first required item, skill.
As for imagination, my attempt is to grasp my musings as a child and free myself from external limitations which quite often brings a assortment of pleasures.
So photography is an art form without rules. Now that, is a game I can play.
