Winter time at the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge of New Mexico is without a doubt the best time for a visit. "The Bosque", as it's know to the locals, is a major Wintering area for migrating waterfowl. The Bosque is about a one hour drive South of Albuquerque, New Mexico in the Rio Grande valley. This image was made one evening as we hiked one of the many trails to the waterfowl feeding areas.
