The Say's Phoebe (Sayornis saya) is a passerine bird in the tyrant flycatcher family. The adult Say's Phoebe is a drab, chunky bird. It is gray-brown above with a black tail and buffy cinnamon below, becoming more orange around the vent A familiar sight in the Rio Grande Valley.

My work is rooted in my experience in nature. As an outdoor enthusiast, rock climber, adventure motorcycle rider, SCUBA Dive Master and Instructor, kayaker, Swift Water Safety Instructor and a whitewater river guide, I have found myself in some pretty amazing places.
I utilize digital processing to enhance what is already there. Striving to find a balance between the physical and its essence. The natural wonder that I feel in the outdoors reminds me of my childhood musings, where my sense of adventure was free from erroneous limitations, where there were no rules. It is this sense of play that I share via my photographs.

I am a New Mexico based Adventure Riding/Rafting/SCUBA Outdoor Digital Photographer, always on the qui vive for what Nature and humans provide. Capturing an image in my camera is but the first step in an artistic process. That initial bit of information then can pass through countless permutations before being declared complete. The journey from capture to completion is a lawless territory. If photography is an art, then there are no rules.
