The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Fuel for the ride. I recently attended a gathering of BMW enthusiast in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In the crowd were several classic bikes in beautiful, if not pristine condition. My heart desired to bring them all home with me but alas, I could only capture images.
