Cherry Creek is a side stream of the Salt River in Arizona. I've rafted the Salt River many times which gives me the opportunity to hike up Cherry Creek as well. In direct sunlight, the colorful rocks and pebbles on the creek bottom add vividness to the rippled surface.

I am a New Mexico based Adventure Riding/Rafting/SCUBA Outdoor Digital Photographer, always on the qui vive for what Nature and humans provide. Capturing an image in my camera is but the first step in an artistic process. That initial bit of information then can pass through countless permutations before being declared complete.
