Whitewater rafting is at it's best in Northern New Mexico right now, June 2016. This image was taken on July 1, 2016 in the Taos Box section of the Rio Grande. The Taos Box section is included in the newly designated Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. as well as being a charter river of the National Wild and Scenic River System.

I am a New Mexico based Adventure Riding/Rafting/SCUBA Outdoor Digital Photographer, always on the qui vive for what Nature and humans provide.
