Artist's Description

Abstract art uses a visual language of shape, form, color and lines. This is a macro composition created by moving up close to a dead and downed pine tree. If I didn't tell you what it is, you perhaps would have a difficult time identifying the source. I was hiking the shores of Lewis Lake, of Yellowstone National Park and instead of acknowledging the massive beauty around, I began focusing on the minute details of the flora at my feet.

About Britt Runyon

Britt Runyon

I am a New Mexico based Adventure Riding/Rafting/SCUBA Outdoor Digital Photographer, always on the qui vive for what Nature and humans provide. Capturing an image in my camera is but the first step in an artistic process. That initial bit of information then can pass through countless permutations before being declared complete. The journey from capture to completion is a lawless territory.
