Description
The Rio Grande Gorge as seen from the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge in winter with a fresh blanket of snow. The gorge is one of the top attractions here in Northern New Mexico for both visitors and locals alike. I awoke one winter morning and drove out to the bridge knowing there was a new layer of snow that arrived during the night. Here you see the Taos Plateau, showing it's lava cliffs, with the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the background.
