Description
The very remote site in northwest New Mexico has the largest, best preserved and architecturally advanced of all ancient Southwestern pueblos. Chaco Culture National Historical Park is well worth the visit when you visit the Land of Enchantment. The drive to the park is 21 miles, along bumpy and heavily graded gravel or dirt roads. For 300 years the Anasazi Chacoan pueblo was at the center of a network of roads and outlying settlements that extended 100 miles to the south, west and north.
